Masters skiers (age 30 plus) enjoy a multitude of cross-country skiing opportunities for training clinics, tours, competition and camaradary.

TD Banknorth CITIZEN SERIES : Just the right mix of fun, adventure, and great competition for experienced racers and those brand new to the racing scene.  This 8 race series allows racers to earn points toward INDIVIDUAL Zak Cup age-group titles and CLUB team standings for the season.  For more information visit http://www.nensa.net/calendar/series.html  Questions about the 8 citizen race series can also be directed to Competitive Programs Director Janice Sibilia at janice@nensa.net.

Participation more than prowess determines the outcome of the CLUB TEAM races.  Each finisher earns one point for finishing and more points for the team based on finishing place in one’s age group.  Stowe Nordic Outing Club, with 179 points, placed 8 th  out of 52 teams in 2008 and 5th out of 56 teams in 2009.  If interested in participation on the Stowe Nordic 2010 team, contact Nat Goodhue <ngoodhue@stowevt.net>

There are 3 choices to race, a 25k Classic (The Bert Kettle Klassic), a 25k freestyle and a 50k freestyle.

- Sugarloaf Outdoor Center, Carrabassett Valley, Maine

50K and 30K Freestyle Race and 30K Tour. Hosted by Sugarloaf Outdoor Center at the Colby College Ski Team. A very challenging loop course.

2010 TD Banknorth Eastern Cup - Yes, there are lots of young skiers zipping around, but masters are welcome.  All mass start races feature a masters-only wave for those wishing to avoid the craziness of a full-on Eastern Cup mass start.  Questions can be directed to Competitive Programs Director Janice Sibilia: janice@nensa.net.

February 28, 2010: Stowe Derby - Choice of free style, classic, or combined free style/classic Derbymeister.  Also a 4 person team option (Each team needs at least one woman.  All team members must be racing in the same race.
