So it's 70 Degrees? It's Not Over Until the Snow's Really
Gone.
On April 2nd (no
foolin') five female Stowe Nordic M4's, M5's and an M6 (aka. middle-aged
women) had a fabulous backcountry ski from Bolton to Trapps. Despite
what you might think, Bolton still has some backcountry skiing up high and is
offering $10 tickets for the Easter weekend. There was snow for most
of the way along the Catamount Trail, and tons of sun to make for a great late
season tour. (Okay but when you're with Trina, it is not exactly at a leisurely
pace.)
