Welcome to Stowe Nordic

Stowe Nordic’s mission is to draw more people to the sport (both local citizens and visitors) by increasing the visibility and available options for nordic skiing in Stowe, thereby benefiting all skiers in the region as well as our local business community.  We do this by:

  • Advocating for the sport in our community - engaging with citizens, local businesses, and the Town
  • Promoting awareness and use of the diverse and outstanding nordic options in the Stowe area
  • Facilitating the expansion and interconnectivity of nordic trails
  • Partnering with local XC touring centers to jointly host events and collaborating to grow the sport
  • Offering programs and holding club events for skiers of all ability levels
  • Building a large, passionate, and active club membership

Full Moon Ski - Monday February 22nd at Trapp Family Lodge

Join us for a fun group ski under the full moon on the Trapp Family Lodge's fabulous trails on Monday February 22nd.  Start is 6pm from the Trapps Outdoor Center.  February's tour is sponsored by Trapp Family Lodge where you will be treated to FREE FOOD, FREE TRAPP LAGER, and special FULL MOON DEALS in the ski shop after our ski (show your appreciation to Trapps for hosting this event by taking advantage of the deals to fill in a few of those gaps in your XC gear). Appropriate for all ages and abilities.  Dress for the weather and bring a headlamp although you won't need it if the sky is clear  (you do not have to be a Stowe Nordic member, but membership is apprecited).


EC/UVM/ST moved to Craftsbury

The races have been moved to Craftsbury.  Details to volunteers to follow.

EC/UVM/ST Update

The final decision to keep the races at Trapps or move them to Craftsbury will be made Thursday morning at 8:30.  If you think you can help shovel snow Thursday morning, please send an e-mail to edinvermont@gmail.com and additional instructions will be provided.  Thanks!

World Cup Trip to Quebec
Join us March 5-6 for our annual club trip, this year to Quebec City to see the World Cup Pursuit races in downtown Quebec, followed by a day of skiing at fabulous Mont Sainte Anne.  Club members: $250, non-members: $280.  For more details, view the trip flyer here
